Dear Colleague, A reminder that your kind participation is requested in the ‘personal preferences in spine surgery techniques’ survey being conducted by the Neurosurgery Department of the University Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol, Badalona (Barcelona). We invite surgeons (both Neurosurgeons and Orthopedic surgeons) across Europe to respond a survey. Our aim is to investigate aspects of our specialty that lack strong scientific evidence or that are subject to wide clinical variations, obtaining information on how surgeons choose to deal with these areas in real world practice. We also want to investigate how differences in geography, specialty and institution influence surgical preferences and practice. The results of this survey are intended to be included in further research, to be made available to the spine surgery community. This study has no interest in and receives no support from the medical industry. The survey is anonymous, and takes only about 10 minutes to complete. Your answers will be handled confidentially, and your e-mail address will not be collected nor transferred to any third party. We thank you in advance for your participation.
